Ifi Audio DC Blocker
A product for those who have problems with hum from amplifiers.
DC-Blocker removes the hum from amplifiers. If you plug your ear, or if it is really bad, you can hear a humming sound from the listening position. This is because a small DC voltage finds its way to the transformer, which becomes "saturated" and starts humming. IFi Audio has developed a clever little device that you put in the power socket of the device. On the back of the CD-Blocker you then insert your power cable. The DC-Blocker prevents DC currents from entering the amplifier. .
Ifi Audio GND Defender
For those who have problems with ground loops
The Ifi Audio GND Defender detects and breaks DC ground loops at the device. The EMI shield is maintained. The safety of the product is maintained as the safety ground is maintained. If multiple ground loops are present, more than one GND Defender may be needed. Read more below.
Ifi Audio Groundhog
These cables are used together with an Ifi Audio AC iPurifier. The AC iPurifier creates its own earth and has an output connector to which you connect these cables. The other part of the cable is connected to a product you want to ground. Incredibly good and smart product.
The following cables are included:
RCA base cable - for a system with an unused RCA connector.
USB converter - for computer in audio system.
Spade converter - for power supplies with DC barrel connector.
3.5mm Y-converter - for portable devices with an unused 3.5mm connector.
Ifi Audio iDefender+
Ifi Audio iDefender fulfils two functions:
1. iFi audio iDefender+ solves problems with audio chain interference caused by ground loops. When connected to the source equipment's USB socket, iDefender+ detects if there is a ground loop problem and breaks the ground loop by intelligently disconnecting the computer's ground. This reduces system noise floor and improves resolution and dynamic contrast.
2. If you are using a DAC that is powered by computer power via the USB cable, you can connect a separate power supply (e.g. iPower X see option below) to the USB-C socket of the iDefender+ and replace the dirty computer power with the external power from the iDefender+. iPower X. Very nice upgrade on a USB DAC!
