- Construction: The cable uses heavy OFHC (Oxygen-Free High Conductivity) continuously cast copper and silver matrix conductors with a total thickness of 14AWG for best signal transmission. The cable has a custom spiral design (called minZ™) that minimises both capacitance and inductance.
- Shielding: The cable has built-in shielding through the minZ™ helical design. This shielding protects the cable from RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) and EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) noise, providing the cleanest transmission medium possible.
- Insulation: Additional insulation of the cable is achieved by using a RoHS compliant, excellent dielectric property and super soft (60P) HD polymer with 1500V AC spark resistance.
- Material: The cable consists of 4N oxygen-free copper for ultimate conductivity and corrosion resistance and 5N platinum pure silver for minimal skin effect and impeccable audio signal transmission.
- Protection and connection: The cable is multi-channel shielded and braided for a low resistance path to ground. It uses iFi's own smooth surface connector and copper edge-cut at a sharp angle to protect the 4.4 socket and extend its life. There is also a 1mm raised lip for precise connection.
