Note: negative balanced signals are not connected to earth in the adapter, allowing a 2.5mm single-ended headphone plug to be converted for use with a balanced 4.4mm output without risk of damage to the amplifier. This adapter does not convert a single-ended plug to a balanced one - the connection remains single-ended.

It removes electrical noise from the network and lowers the noise floor and interference. Use with your router, switch or directly in the wall socket for Ethernet. How much benefit it provides is certainly dependent on how "dirty" your own Ethernet signal is to begin with. Likewise, it can vary from system to system i.e. how sensitive it is.

Handy headphone amplifier - has DAC but no battery.
The Go Bar is the size of a cigarette lighter, i.e. very flexible with an aluminium box. It does NOT have a built-in battery, but is powered only by the power in the USB cable. It works with a phone but may be best suited connected to a computer or laptop as it draws power from the battery with reduced battery life as a result. But on the positive side, there is no battery that can die / wear out after a few years. GoBar also has a volume control that is controlled with 2 buttons on the side and the possibility of XBass+ and XSpace for those who want to add a little more colour to the sound.Short cables are included for connection to iPhone Lightning and USB-C and a small case to store it in but also a small short connector/converter to convert "big" USB to USB-C for older computers etc.
