The Line Magnetic LM-845 Premium is a high quality, integrated tube amplifier that uses 845 triode tubes in a single-ended design and operates in pure Class A mode. It delivers a power output of 2x30W, making it suitable for use with most existing reference speakers.

The unit consists of two parts: an amplifier unit and an output unit. The amplifier uses Shuguang 300B tubes in its drivers, a 310A for the amplifier, and Shuguang 12AX7 tubes in the pre-amplifier. It also has two user controls for the 300B and 845 tubes used for bias adjustment and two front panel meters for easy bias monitoring. A negative feedback switch on the front panel allows users to select between two levels of NFB to vary the audio outputs.

The LM-845 Premium also uses eight transformers for power supply, filtering, switching and output. Its construction boasts high-quality components, point-to-point wiring and a single-ended design. It comes with tubes for the input stage (2x 12AX7), drivers (2x 300B, 2x 310A) and power stage (2x 845 single-ended).

In addition to its technical merits, the LM-845 Premium features a handcrafted design with fine point-to-point wiring, bias control available at the top of the amplifier panel with a true ammeter, and a soft start and delay circuit. It also features a specially designed EI transformer for power supply and two wide bandwidth EI output transformers. The unit uses an ALPS volume control and Realcap capacitors.

In terms of user interface and convenience, it has a removable pipework protection grid and comes with an infrared remote control. It also includes a detachable power cable, a dedicated cable used to connect the main amplifier unit to the output unit, and a manual.
