Gold Note Galileo Rack

The Gold Note Galileo Rack is part of the product line of the Italian company Gold Note. It is a rack that aims to create a perfect platform for various HiFi products, thereby optimising musical reproduction.

The name GALILEO is a tribute to the Florentine genius Galileo Galilei, born in the mid-16th century, who was a prominent physicist, mathematician, astronomer and engineer. The design of the rack is reminiscent of the "Monumental Staircase of the Biblioteca (Library) Vasariana" in Florence, created by Michelangelo Buonarroti, as well as the Michelangelo Monumental Tombs of Lorenzo Dei Medici and creates a perfectly designed unit with, for example, the Mediterraneo turntable.

The Galileo rack has the following technical specifications:

- The rack consists of 3 layers where the interior consists of a 3mm thick stainless steel layer connected with 16 stainless steel bolts. Each module weighs 25kg.

- The rack shelf is now available in Walnut and Black and in 2 sizes:
1. width: 1160mm, height: 42mm, depth: 642mm.
2. width: 690mm, height: 42mm, depth: 645mm, allowing it to handle devices of up to 100kg. It can basically handle any type of audio equipment for the best sound quality performance.

- It is offered with massive, finely machined aluminium 'hourglass' feet with giant bronze frames. The hourglass design of the feet has a great damping effect as the elliptical shape better distributes the longitudinal forces along the foot. Moreover, the foot is 10mm recessed in the wooden shelf and is connected to each other with a 30x48mm giant bronze insert that allows the best sound performance.

- The Galileo rack also features a fully modular design that allows any customised design system to be built, from a single shelf rack to multiple horizontal tables.
