Gordians require a cable with a 20A C-19 plug to be connected. Lab 12 knack mk2 is a high quality AC main power cable, designed to deliver optimal power to the Lab 12 Gordian. It plays a crucial role in maintaining the original purity of the music and contributing to the overall balance of the entire sound system.
The Knack mk2 20A power cable delivers power with unrivalled efficiency, making it a significant factor in a system. It can also counteract disruptive EMI and RFI noise. This product is the result of years of experimentation with thousands of conductors, variations in how they are implemented and how capacitance and inductance are affected.
The Knack power cable was developed together with the renowned Gordian power conditioner. Both these products create a natural foundation and are recommended as a partner for all Lab12 products.
As for the specifications, the knack mk2 offers different versions of power connector, including EU, US, UK and Switzerland. It has a 16A or 20A IEC plug version, and the cable includes an independent braided copper shield to the phase and neutral cores. The connectors are of high grade red copper and are gold plated.
The cable has a rating of 220-240Vac 16 Amp continuous current. The total conductor thickness is 3x6mm² (10AWG). Its resistance is 3.40 mohm/m, its internal capacitance is 150pF/m, and its internal inductance is 2.80 uH/m. The standard length of the cable is 1.5 metres, but custom lengths are available upon request.
