Innovative Base Unit
\nThe T\/5x is equipped with a simple 8\" (200mm) long-throw base unit, borrowed from its big brother, the T\/7x. This cone, made from a composite of aluminium and lightweight paper, captures details that impress and delivers enough energy to reach surprising depths for its size. In the T\/5x, stroke length - the ability to play louder - has been increased. Internal upgrades have transformed the performance from being comparable to a family car to a true sports car. Power and Reliability
\nThe T\/5x picks up where its predecessor left off, with reliable and powerful 125W Class A\/B amplifiers. Several critical internal components have been upgraded to improve transparency and speed, without compromising REL's recognised reliability. With separate high and low level inputs, it enables a seamless transition from speaker to subwoofer. Plus, a separate, dedicated .1\/LFE input for home theatre offers an automatic transition between music and movies, without having to change any settings. Is it magic? No, it's more an expression of superior engineering.<\/p>\n
For those using 220V units, a standby mode switch is added, providing extra ease of use and adaptability for different markets.
